I'm in 2nd trimester of pregnancy. i've had reccuring yeast infections (4times). i used cefime tablets with miconazole and it was gone for about a month but it's back again. kindly help, the itch and the thrush is unbearable.

Talk to your OB: Talk to your OB Dr about treatment during pregnancy with an oral antifungal. A single dose of fluconazole 150 mg to treat vaginal yeast infection during pregnancy does not appear to be associated with the birth defects or any other problems with the fetus. Using the oral antifungal along with a topical antifungal is 90% effective in curing recurrent yeast infections.
