Hypothyroidism: It is very important that your hypothyroidism is treated properly and you shouldn't rely on nonprescription substances to keep your thyroid hormone levels in normal range. If you want to avoid complications continue your thyroid supplement as directed by your MD and guided by periodic testing ordered by him/her at appropriate intervals.
