I understand that the fda recently changed their stanceon routine psa testing for men. Has the value of this testbeen over emphasized previously?
I recently received results of bloodwork resulting in total PSA of .6 ng/ml but a free PSA of 18%. Proactive testing, no symptoms, 62, 200 lbs, physically active, non-smoker, 60 years old. Is this concerning enough to seek other tests/treatments?
