Vitamin B12: According to those reference values your serum B12 level is within normal limits but some people with vitamin B12 deficiency can have normal blood levels and show elevated homocysteine and methylmalonic acid levels as a result. If your previous Vitamin B12 level was low and you're unable to absorb it orally, you should get a monthly shot of 1000 micrograms or take 25 mcg daily sublingually.
