Spotting on bcp's: The switch was not responsible for the spotting. Low dose bcp's require taking the active pills within the hour of the prior day's active pill. Even missing or being late for one active pill can start breakthrough bleeding. If this continues, stop this pack , wait five days and start a new pack. If bleeding continues, see your gyn for an exam and testing.
