Im on the 28 day pill. i am in my "7 day inactive pill week". im supposed to start a new pack on sunday but im having hectic period pains. can i start my new pack of active pills before sunday?

Menstrual pain ?: Severe menstrual pain while on BCP's in the "inactive pill week" may indicate pelvic endometriosis, which is still contributing to menstrual pain. Treatments for endometriosis, or even just severe cramping pain with menses include continuous active pill use beyond the normal 21 active pill regimen. Two to five packs of active pills w/o a break are often prescribed in this case.
