Since yesterday my thumb has pain when i move the joint. also it moves slightly by itself sometimes. maybe was due to me cracking it (popping it). at what point do i see a doctor?

If it persists: An ache or pain now and again is normal, often from overuse or unrecognized trauma (or too much cracking the joint). A bit of ice an an over the counter analgesic or topical like Ben gay, may do the trick. If it persists and in person evaluation is warranted
