Left, low abdominal p: More description of your symptoms is needed in order to make a differential diagnosis. Possible causes of left lower abdominal pain are diverticulitis of the descending colon, especially if there's associated tenderness, muscular strain or inflammation, inflammatory bowel disease or inguinal hernia. If discomfort persists you should be examined by a physician or abdominal surgeon or go to ER.
