Blood on paper: If you can separate urine from any vaginal discharge and be sure that you observe blood in the urine, an investigation and testing are warranted starting with a urine culture and colony count to detect a bladder infection. Other causes include stones, growths in bladder or kidneys, inflammation of kidneys. A urologist is best to investigate blood in urine unless its a simple bladder infection.
