Try looking online: Years ago, listings used to be available only in printed form. By the turn of the century, lists had become available online everywhere. Now, some lists are only online, and no longer printed. County medical societies, hospitals, insurance companies usually list medical doctors by name, specialty, and location. Looking at the Psychiatrist list on the insurer's site to ask about telemedicine care.

Virtual psychiatry: Many psychiatrists would want to see you in person for an initial visit to determine if you are stable enough to be treated via virtual medicine. I agree with Dr. Kwok about asking your health insurance agency about which psychiatrists are in their network.
