Hard to comment: The vague history does not provide enough info to provide a detailed response. Many kids have ear infections off & on through life. Many have ear operations. Giving antibiotics for a puss filled ear would be expected. You are welcome to start over with a more detailed chronology, but this likely needs an in person evaluation by a pediatrician to sort things out.

ENT: It sounds like he has never been free of purulent discharge. If that is accurate - then you could ask your doctor for an ENT referral. Are you sure he has had pus daily all that time?
