My baby, 15m, had a diaper rash for 2months. red patchs, dry and rough skin, itchiness, it's expanding. used candid cream, coconut oil, and no diapers. looks like dermatitis with dead skin buildup and scaly patches. please suggest some ointment.

Watch for signs of drainage, swelling and redness. The Candida yeast infection is usually treatable topically. A culture may be sent to confirm the diagnosis. Use a diaper cream with zinc to promote healing. Consider immune testing.
