What are the chances of getting a false negative? i tested for covid after 1 day of symptoms - headache, cough and fever of 37.8. but i tested negative. i still have a headache after 6 days of getting my result.

You have more chance of having an accurate test result if you have symptoms or you wait at least a few days after COVID 19 contact. It you test too early, an early infection may not get picked up.
