After bowel movement i saw that half of my stool was normal colors but some were black, i am on my period now and therefore bleed. could this be the reason? i had no other symptoms, please answer, is this okay? i drink fevarin(anti-depressant)

Black stool ?'s: Black stools while menstruating may be due to endometriosis, which can cause intestinal bleeding, but there are other causes of dark stools, so get referred to a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis. Endometriosis generally has other symptoms, such as painful menses, cramping. Ask about low dose oral bcp's if the GI workup is negative.
