Sometimes/evaluate: Some babies have discoloration around the lips, but this should be further evaluated right away. The baby may have immature sleep and breathing patterns leading to periods of apnea and low oxygenation. If the baby is otherwise well, without cough, fever or congestion, avoid use of the dummy and keep nasal passages open with saline drops until seen. Watch for signs of apnea and blue skin.

See her doctor: Although this may not be serious, please call her doctor and have her seen to be properly evaluated. Also, consider taking a video or photo to show the doctor as it may not happen while in their office or during a telehealth visit. Also, can follow the advice given already about nasal saline drops and avoiding the pacifier until further evaluated.
