Ask doctor: Pap smears are recommended for average-risk women age 21 to 65 every 3 years. Ask your doctor what timing is recommended for you.

When to do a pap?: Do you still have your uterus? Did you ever have any pap abnormalities? I guess without more information we cannot answer this very well. Now...Did you know that post-menopausal women who are becoming sexually active are getting stds and HIV at rates that are alarming. Many women forget that these things still occur and they have to worry more about pregnancy than these very present risks.
