Uses of olive oil for the ear?

None I recommend: Some self treating mothers use this and other preparations for a variety of things, mostly doing no harm or benefit. Warming it slightly & putting it in the canal can diminish eardrum pain. The same can be done with heat to the side of the head. The adage that you should put nothing in your ear other than your elbow is pretty good advice.

Olive Oil in Ear.: I am familiar with using warm olive oil to float a live insect out of the external ear canal.
