See your eye MD: You are describing halos and starburst- type aberrations in vision post lasik surgery. Dry eyes or inflammation may contribute to these so best to treat those first. Secondly, your prescription may be shifting or need an enhancement to the laser. Check with your eye md for more options.

May not be one: If you still have those symptoms after 8 years, they are likely permanent. Make sure that if you have dry eye it is very well controlled. Sometimes a drop called brominidine or alphagan (brimonidine) can be used to decrease halos when you drive at night. Ask your surgeon!
