Please discard: Please discard your expired medicine. Studies are only done to ensure safety and potency for the period of time guaranteed by the expiration date. After a medicine expires, we don’t know what it will do. Best to discard the expired product and replace it with something new. Good luck!

I have a dull pain in my upper abdomen indigestion, nausea and feeling of fullness. Have tried Maalox, tums, (calcium carbonate) Pepto bismuth, all to no avail.
Gastroenterologist prescribed bismuth subnitrate + calcium 50/50. Dose is 'tip of a knife' 4/day for 1month, followed by probiotics for 1month.Then repeated. Dosage is vague, can I take too much bismuth this way? Is there a safe upper limit in grams?
