Ovulation: It is very difficult to track ovulation when you have irregular periods as you are finding out. I don't think that a BBT is going to help you at all. You may have to just go to a fertility specialist who will check you for hormonal issues. They will then help you regulate your cycle and ovulate.

I have irregular periods. I am using a period tracker to keep track of temps and how many times we have sex. The calendar said i was ovulating...But temp did not agree. The same day i had 1 spot of pink when i wiped. What could it be?
