A member asked:

My lower back/ upper portion of my buttocks has pain; and some lower abdominal pain (more so my pelvic area area). theres no lump but it does hurt to walk or sit . male. also pain came about slowly after working out ( deadlifting)?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Low back pain: One has to consider low back and lower abdominal muscular strain in view of the weight lifting. For this, treatment is alternating cold and hot applications for 20 minutes every few hours, taking anti-inflammatory medications like ibuprofen or naproxen and avoid prolonged bed rest. Inflammation of the prostate gland can present similar symptoms but there may be urinary symptoms as well.? See MD
