Change in smile: Please let your parents know about these concerns. They can take you for assessment by your dentist. Your dentist can determine if there is a problem that would warrant referral to an orthodontist or other type of specialist.

Malocclusion/TMJ: Your malocclusion (bad bite) and TMJ dysfunction may be associated. Please have your parents schedule an initial examination appointment (usually free) with a qualified Orthodontic Specialist.
