Not directly- No: If your only symptom is high blood pressure, then no it is not caused by Covid. In Severe cases of Covid, a hospitalized person may have heart and kidney damage, when the kidneys have been attacked by the immune system in what is called the cytokine storm. In those advanced stages of disease, one of the complications can be variations in blood pressure. See a Dr to determine why your BP has spiked
