A member asked:

I have piles for a month now and nothing works. now the bleeding is getting worse. what can i do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Proctologist: In my experience proctologists do the best job of evaluating, treating and follow-up of hemorrhoidal problems. Internal hemorrhoids can be tied off in the office. External hemorrhoids often recede on their own but in some cases surgical removal is performed. I have found other specialists aren't as thorough in treating hemorrhoidal problems, but a colorectal surgeon is a good second choice.
