Trying to conceive for 1 year.. in april my fsh was 23 and now my fsh level is 56 .. my dr told me today i can never conceive.. i'm so upset now please give some idea that how can i lower my fsh level my age is 37?

FSH levels: Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) is secreted to 'coerce" the ovum from the ovary. If no response is detected , FSH will ratchet higher and higher if no egg is forthcoming. When the ovary is depleted of viable eggs, the FSH will reach an astronomically high value. At age 37 your ovary may still be producing eggs albeit only occasionally. Re-check the FSH again in 3 months if still menstruating
