A member asked:

How to lose 40 'pounds in 4 months for teenage girls ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possible ,but: One pound = 3000 calories, 40=120, 000 calories. Average daily calorie intake/use for many teens 2500. If you had the will to cut calorie intake to 1500 cal/day for & maintained the activity level needed to burn off 2500 cal/day you could do this over a 120 day period. But it will take a lot of will power and commitment. Best check with your physician & see if your system can handle this
