Not likely: Generally not genetic. Discuss the symptoms and potential testing with your doctor. Why are you already on Hydrocortisone if you don't have adrenal insufficiency?

If symptomatic: There's a familial addison's but most is sporadic. If you know you should be eating but dont want to, and are losing weight, it's reason enough to screen anyone for addison's.
