COVID 19: How close was the contact? Less than 6 feet apart? Both wearing mask? Person appear ill at the time? Outdoors or in a poorly ventilated, crowded tight space? Less than ten minutes? Even if you have the “right” answers to these questions, if someone who is infected coughs or sneezes right at you, you can become infected. Would quarantine. Being tested is the only way to know for sure.

Agree with Dr. F: Wear a mask, keep away from others, practice hand hygiene. If you develop symptoms, get tested. If you develop breathing difficulty, go to the nearest hospital immediately. Wish you good health!

COVID 19: In South Africa a medical provider will determine need for COVID 19 testing. Consult your local primary care provider or you can use telemedicine for individual consultations. There are a number of free apps to look at your risk.

Quarantine : And test. Your GP should be able to further coordinate locally. Inform your employer also so that you can follow their recommendations as well.
