Most likely yes: The 89 is a little high, but what is important in BP is to check periodically, see the trend, sometimes compare your equipment with one at your doctors and take care of yourself.

BP: Your systolic BP is ok, but the optimal diastolic BP shouldn't exceed 80. Of course you will have follow-up BP checks and if diastolic BP remains over 80, reduce salt intake, alcohol, caffeine and weight if you're too heavy. No smoking, stress reduction and regular exercise,if you're able, are important.

Bottom # a bit high: The top #119 (systolic pressure) is great (normal is 120 or less) but the bottom # 89 (diastolic pressure) is a little higher than we like (under 80 is normal) We don’t treat blood pressure with just one reading; multiple readings @ different times of day are most helpful. Weight loss, aerobic exercise, minimizing smoking & alcohol, & lower sodium in the diet can all help lower blood pressure
