YES: A 5 day variation is well within the range of normal at this stage. If the fetus continues to grow at a greater than expected rate it may suggest that your blood sugar levels are elevated (gestational diabetes) bear in mind, a normal full term baby could weigh 6 lbs or 9 lbs. This is normal variation in size between individuals.
