My daughter has developed discoloration in both her lower legs, exactly identical. it has not subsided nor has it increased. she is 6 years old and does not have a history of any serious illnesses. what could be the problem?

Eval: I think that this should be visualized with a comprehensive history to determine the cause of the new onset discoloration.

Have her seen: There are many possible causes for skin discoloration. It would be impossible to list them all here or diagnose without seeing your daughter's skin. I would recommend having her seen by her doctor. If an in-person visit isn't possible, you may be able to do a telemedicine visit to start with. You could then be directed to further evaluation if necessary.
