Odd post: Your written question seems to suggest a followup but no posts on this site are linked. The cited average wait for a desired pregnancy (off BC) is 6 mo with a range of weeks to a year. Delay past a year would make an evaluation of both parents for fertility issues reasonable. Problems if found could be treated or alternatives for conception discussed.
