COVID-19: Thne way to determine if the infection is gone is to have egative results of PCR for SARS-CoV-2 RNA from at least two consecutive nasopharyngeal swab specimens collected ≥24 hours apart (total of two negative specimens).

COVID 19: Although there can be continued disease sequela, a PCR test is the way to determine if there is still active infection.

SARS-CoV2 /COVID 19: If you tested negative initially and continue to have symptoms including shortness of breath (typical), testing now may help determine whether the symptoms are due to COVID or not. If you have active symptoms and don't feel any better, you should test positive if your symptoms are due to COVID. On the other hand, if you are recovering, the COVID test could be negative.
