Heel Spur : Spur itself is often not painful, rather the tendons and ligaments attached to the 'spur' which traverse the across sole, and where they attach to the spur (enthesis) stimulates pain receptors among the layers of muscle/tendon to the forefoot. There may be other conditions which cause this, noting 'joint dysfunctional' suggest you consult your physician for evaluation.
