Cut my finger 5-days ago close to tip. dont think that serious. dont think infected. dont think more painful than should be. but numb around cut, especially the side toward tip. normal or should i seek out doctor? have pics.

Picture: The reason for imaging would be to see if a bone was broken or perhaps a foreign body. Given this is a fingertip injury and seems like no significant injury an imaging study does not seem of value. The digital nerves of the finger run up each side. Likely some damage to the nerve, but if fingertip not a lot to do other than let heal. Distal injury typically will return to normal.
