Many causes : In a woman causes of left lower abdominal pain can include: ovarian cyst, diverticulitis, endometriosis, hernia, ovulation pain, Crohn’s Disease, renal infection or stone or injury just to mention a few. If pain is chronic get it checked out –especially if associated with change in bowel habitus. Severe abdominal pain warrants ER visit.
