Possible Neurologic: You may be experiencing nerve damage or other injury. An imaging test is a good starting point.

Thigh pain: I don't even want to take a guess at this one. If your pain is so severe that your leg is buckling, really do recommend that you see your primary care provider. S/he can start a workup and determine if specialty evaluation is indicated. Take care.
