Local issue: Among those exposed to covid or having any symptoms the group with difficulty breathing or who are short of breath need evaluation.This is the group who will need hospital based care. For others the issue is local & depends on many factors. Seeking testing may put people at risk of exposure when they have a minor self healing problem.

COVID 19: It sounds like you have a respiratory infection which may or may not be due to COVID 19. Your doctor may be able to differentiate further. Testing may be indicated. Would isolate for now.
