Usually/basics: Breastfeeding is certainly the best nutrition & many will be successful feeding well into pregnancy. There are differences in the BM created for a newborn and the older infant. You may want to transition the older infant off after a year so your system can get ready for a new baby but some mothers that never stop manage to make BF both work.
