My iud strings are folded and slightly longer than the last time i checked them, does this mean that it's out of place or coming out?

Maybe: If you can feel the strings inside the vagina and can trace them to the cervix( which feels like the end of you nose), do you feel something hard in the center? If so, see your MD as the IUD may on the way out of its' place inside the uterus. Meanwhile, use an additional means of contraception, if sexually active, until the IUD placement status can be determined by the MD.
