When they say loss of appetite should be reported to your doctor on metoprolol. what are they watching for?

Not sure: Since weight loss and decreased appetite were not listed as GI or metabolic side effects on the sites I reviewed to include https://www.drugs.com/sfx/metoprolol-side-effects.html & https://www.everydayhealth.com/drugs/metoprolol/. It has been associated with weight gain in 0.1 to 1%. I really don't know about this.
