Methylphenidate.: Neucon is a methylphenidate. If you give it to him at night he may get some significant insomnia.

I wouldn't: The theory behind this drugs is it increases the kids vigilance/attention while it is in his system. This form generally lasts 6+ hours, during school hours, before declining to a level that it has no effect. Rarely this makes a kid drowsy & if so it would be either at too high a dose or just the wrong med. Night use would likely interrupt his sleep & have no effect during the next school day.
