Anxiety: It's been nine months and your built-in coping mechanisms have not been up to resolving your problem. Please take advantage of the mental health care community. Your General Practitioner should be able to recommend a specialist that can help you. Sometimes we all need a helping hand.

CBT or CPT: Please consider working with a therapist. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or a specific type of CBT called Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) can be especially helpful. Take care.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without taking additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss if you may be depressed. Counter-intuitive as it may seem, exercise may help. Start with low intensity exercise such as walking and gradually increase the intensity as tolerated. Wish you good health!
