Blood sugar: Glimepiride is dosed at 1 mg to 2 mg for initial dose. You can take up to 8 mg daily. The dose of Galvus/Met is based on the Galvus part of the medication which is vildagliptin. This can be taken up to 100 mg daily. You are not on excessive doses of your medications. However, hypoglycemia alsways possible. Rember too, low glycemic diet and exercise are great too!
