Worried about ??: Are you worried about COVID 19? Although GI symptoms occur in many people with COVID 19, doctors from the Wuhan Medical Treatment Expert Group found that" A handful of cases only had digestive symptoms and no respiratory symptoms." REF: https://www.everydayhealth.com/coronavirus/could-your-digestive-issues-be-a-symptom-of-covid-19/. Would continue to monitor for new symptoms.

Heartburn, nausea: At this time your symptoms suggest reflux. Avoid spicy and greasy foods, aspirin,anti-inflammatory medications like ibuprofen or naproxen, caffeine, alcohol, and nicotine. Drink flat ginger ale to combat nausea and take omeprazole or famotidine for several days. If not improved, see your MD or a gastroenterologist.
