Not automatic: However if you have close contact (less than 6 feet) for 10 minutes that is considered a significant risk. On the other hand, you could be with someone for seconds who sneezes or coughs on you & transmits COVID 19. Were you or the other person wearing masks? Being in a small, poorly ventilated space also increases risk.
