I have a sore chest, that feels like a chest infection as the one or two times ive coughed it hurt. it was also very dry. the chest pain tonight does feel a bit different though, its sore even when i drink water.

Many causes: Please stay home, rest, drink fluids and monitor your temperature. There are many potential causes of a chest infection or chest tightness. One common cause is bronchospasm which may indicate asthma. Muscular chest wall tenderness may result from coughing and cause chest pain. Discuss ruling out COVID 19 with your PCP and watch for signs of worsening. These signs include shortness of breath.
