Yes: Antibiotic rash is very common in children. Take your child back to the prescribing Dr, so they can examine the rash and change your prescription. The underlying infection still needs to be treated, but you don't want an antibiotic allergy to compromise your childs health. The rash should go away within 24-48 hours once the medication is changed.
