The body is getting ready to carry and deliver another baby and hormonal changes can cause your bones and ligaments to shift to accommodate your growing baby. Make sure you are being seen by an OB so they can make sure your pregnancy is in your uterus and healthy. Rarely, Ectopic pregnancy can cause abdominal/back pain.
