Common: Penile calluses are a common problem in marathon runners because of the chafing that occurs in moist areas. There are specialized male treatments (Man 1 Man Oil) that can be used to soften the calluses and heal the skin, but it will take time. Prevention is the best strategy. Reduce the friction by using a lubricant: Petroleum jelly or Bodyglide on the areas that rub and wear compression shorts.
